Definitions:

Capri Technologies™, This is the dealer in which you are purchasing from (Capri Technologies™ Trading As Capri Technologies™ ABN 45 097 705 921)

Customer, This is the person or company in which is purchasing a product or service from Capri Technologies™

By purchasing from Capri Technologies™, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by our terms and conditions as set out below.

Privacy Policy:

All information submitted to us is private and confidential and not shared with any third party. Unless we're presented with a court order, your information will not be released or sold to any other person.

Payment Methods:

Capri Technologies™ at this time accepts Direct Deposit, Money Order, Cheque (Cheque's incur a 3% surcharge and require 100pts of ID) or Pay Pal to pay for goods or services. All cheque orders are subject to verification and approval. Orders paid for by Direct Deposit will not be processed or shipped until the funds transfer has been fully verified. Credit Card is also available via Paypal and their secure website.

Be aware that payment for an item/s made via Paypal are subject to a refund from Paypal if you do not receive the item within 60 days.

Pricing Policy:

Prices are set at the time of purchase and are subject to change without any notice. We reserve the right to not honor typographical errors on prices.

Acceptance of orders:

Capri Technologies (TM) reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time, for any reason. In addition, an automated electronic order confirmation does not indicate acceptance of an order.

Limitation of Liability:

All products sold are to be used at your own risk. Under no circumstances is Capri Technologies™ liable for the following:

  • Third party claims against you for damages,
  • Loss of, or damage to your records, data, or any type of hardware/equipment,
  • Economic consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or lost savings), or incidental damages even if we are aware of the possibility.
  • Any consequential damages. Consequential damages are defined as any damage which is a consequence of using this product or our website (data loss; hardware loss; or economic losses like profit loss, customer loss, or time loss).

Capri Technologies™ liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased from us. All of the products that we sell are to be used at your own risk and we are in no way liable for any loss, damage or injuries suffered from poor installation or use.

Once shipped, goods become the responsibility of the customer which then has consumer rights to the goods being delivered by the carrier.

Warranty:

All products purchased from Capri Technologies™ come with at least 12 months warranty unless otherwise advised. Samsung products often have two years or more warranty. All warranties are against manufacturer defects starting from the receipt or invoice date, and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Consumables are exempt from this warranty and can only be returned if a defect is found.

Our warranty does not apply to any item that has been modified, overclocked, abused, or mis-used. Products are not warranted as to compatibility with your current components in regards to use, fit, or utility. The consumer is responsible for making sure that the parts ordered from Capri Technologies™ will be compatible with their system (e.g correct heatsink for your CPU). Capri Technologies™ reserves the right to repair or replace defective items under warranty as we see appropriate. However, Capri Technologies™ will provide basic support on any components a customer is having a compatibility or other issue with.

The customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product back to Capri Technologies™. Customers must ship the item back to Capri Technologies™ using a reputable carrier that is capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. The customer bears all cost of shipping charges and all risk of loss in transit to Capri Technologies™.

Please include your original invoice number and contact details, a description of the problem, and any other information you think might be related.

Adequately pack the product for shipment to us. Do not ship the product back to us using only the original retail box the product came in. We will reject any package sent to us like that. Pack it well - any damage caused to the product due to poor packaging or shipping choice is your responsibility and we will not replace or repair the product under warranty. In cases of returns for refunds/credits you must include a copy of the original receipt.

Returns:

Customers can return non-defective products for a full refund, provided the item is back at Capri Technologies™ within 5 days. This is conditional on that the product is returned in "as new" condition, in its original undamaged packaging, and unopened if sealed by the manufacturer. Shipping charges are not refundable. Refund amounts will be based on the currently listed price on our website, or the invoice - whichever is lower. Special order items will only be refunded after the manufacturer or distributor has approved the item for return.

The customer agrees that the returned product will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will be complete with original packaging, manuals, etc. If any of the listed requirements are not fulfilled, Capri Technologies™ reserve the right to reject the refund.

Shortages:

Please inspect the contents of your shipment carefully upon your receipt of it. You have four (4) days after confirmed delivery to report any shortages in the shipment. We will not accept any responsibility, or offer any options after those four days have passed.

Capri Technologies™

Component prices and stock

  • Please note: The components prices are extremely volatile, prices may vary without any prior notice. Please email us for new or better prices and we will consider every request individually.
  • Errors and Omissions are Excepted. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of descriptions, not all descriptions are accurate. Please speak to us to confirm before making a decision.
  • Pictures and images are for illustrations only. Some images are of generic similar items and do not necessarily reflect the actual products.
  • While every effort is made to ensure stock levels are accurate, occasional discrepancies may occur.

Delivery, Payment and Additional Charges

  • Shipping if required is charged at $8 (ex. GST) courier for Perth metro area, $12 (ex. GST) for West Australia Country and $12 (ex. GST) to $26 (ex. GST) Australia Wide depending on size and weight of items, regardless of order size. We reserve the right to refuse / change price for very large orders. Or you can organise to pick up your purchase from our office in Balcatta.
  • Flash drives and the like in quantities of two or less will only incur a shipping fee of 55 cents ex. GST. if requested.
  • Large items from Samsung like ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions etc can be direct drop shipped directly from Samsung to commercial premises for a cost of $50 ex. GST. These items will need to be paid in full before Samsung will ship the item. (Note: If concerned, pay by Paypal and if you haven't received your item within 60 days please lodge a complaint with Paypal and they will refund your money).
  • Optional Shipping insurance is charged at 5% of the total cost.
  • Payment at this time is to be by Cash, Direct Deposit, Bank Cheque or Pay Pal only, with credit card payments accepted via Paypal.
  • Prices / Availability are generally for normal retail quantities only. We reserve the right to not supply / change price for other quantities.
  • We also can supply wholesale distribution. Please enquire at sales@capri-technologies.com.au if you wish to make regular purchases or to purchase items in bulk quantities.

Capri Technologies™

Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

  • Original invoice must be presented as proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
  • Warranty is either back to base or the customer must go straight to the Manufacturer. Capri Technologies™ does not cover any charges related to shipment of goods to or from the Capri Technologies™ premise for warranty purposes.
  • Standard warranty on desktop computer systems is two (24) months which includes labour on parts unless otherwise specified on the invoice.
  • Standard warranty on components and accessories is twelve (12) months, not including labour, unless otherwise stated. Any additional manufacturer warranty must be claimed directly with the manufacturer.
  • Consumables will not generally have a warranty. Please ask Capri Technologies™ if you have an issue with your consumable item.
  • Warranty is not covered directly by Capri Technologies™ on some items, including but not limited to printers, scanners, monitors, notebook computers, and media. Capri Technologies™ will refer customers to Manufacturers or local service centres whenever possible. Exceptions may be made for Dead On Arrival (DOA) items if returned within 7 (seven) days of date of invoice.
  • Capri Technologies™ reserves the right to withdraw warranty in cases where the manufacturer does not regard the presented issue as a fault.
  • Where a fault is not found on any item, the customer will be charged any fees and labour which may result.
  • Capri Technologies™ will only replace LCD's for dead pixel reasons only when covered by Manufacturer's specific policy, including the Manufacturer DOA policy. Samsung offers a three year zero dead pixel policy other manufacturers do not.
  • Some systems and/or parts may be returned at Capri Technologies™ discretion within 7 (seven) days of date of invoice. Goods are required to be in excellent condition with all original packaging and contents. Media and blister packs must have original packaging intact. Refunds are not given except if specifically advertised by Capri Technologies™.
  • Goods insured for delivery will only be replaced or refunded if missing or damaged in transit.
  • Delivery and insurance charges are excluded from any refunds, store credits or insurance cover.
  • Warranty is void if goods are in any way physically damaged, are used beyond their intended specifications, or have labels that are altered, damaged or missing.
  • Warranty does not cover virus infection, software related faults, damage or misuse.
  • Capri Technologies™ takes no responsibility for any data or software loss and/or damages arising from the use of our goods or services.
  • Warranty does not cover the damage of other equipment used in conjunction with products supplied by Capri Technologies™.
  • Title and property of goods remain with Capri Technologies™ until full payment is received and cleared.
  • The risk of any loss, damage or deterioration shall pass to the customer at the time of customer, proxy or courier receiving the goods from Capri Technologies™. Warranty does not cover damage to goods arising from environmental causes such as but not limited to lightning, flood (water damage) or fire.
